What is FootGolf?

FootGolf is a new sport that has been sweeping across America since 2011. It has become so popular that there are FootGolf courses in every state in the USA.  FootGolf combines the elements of both soccer and golf on a modified course.   You need very little equipment and no special training.

This family-friendly activity is easy to learn for all ages and skill levels. There is no experience or special training needed to enjoy this exciting new sport. Easy enough for children to partake in, the object is to have fun, compete against friends and kick a ball.

What other active outdoor sport can Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and all the kids play together?  This is a great opportunity to get our youth off electronics and outdoors spending time with family and friends.

Get started, Go out and Have Fun!

How is it played?

The rules for FootGolf coincide with traditional golf but players use Size 5 soccer balls and kick them into the hole laid out on the golf course. Regulation courses have 9 and 18 holes. Most of these are found on regular golf courses. The object of the game is to get the ball into the 21-inch diameter hole with the fewest number of kicks. FootGolf does not damage the grounds of the golf course. The hole is positioned on the edge of the fairway, away from the green.

A FootGolf Testimonial

Thrifty Golf Supply gifted a FootGolf package to a local family and this is what they had to say, “We went to Sah-Hah-Lee Golf Course and played 9 holes of FootGolf with our 6 children!  We had so much fun. The kids enjoyed getting to kick the soccer balls and my husband & I enjoyed playing against them.  There was hardly any arguing and we got a lot of exercise.  It was a lot of fun. Thank You Thrifty Golf Supply!!” – The Yazzie Family
